View Full Version : Any hobby shops that stock Kyosho Fantom parts?

Guys, I need some special gears for a project on which I'm working, and they have to be the two-speed gears from the Kyosho 1/8 Fantom on-road car. Anyone know of an on-line retailer or hobby shop that has parts for these cars?

Actually, I think those are pinion gears. The spurs are 48L, 49L, 44H and 45H. I say that since it is a Kyosho car and you can't find parts at Tower, you're out o' luck.

read somewere that the 2speed on the fantom is identical to the one on the v one r

Are you looking for FM356-17L, FM356-18L, FM357-21H or FM357-22H? These are the spur gear part numbers. Tower has these but they are on backorder. I'm sure you've already checked that though.

Yes, I need the 21H and 22H gears, but they're not available through Tower. I'm hoping there's a hobby shop that has left over inventory from the previous version Fantom car.
so if there the same gears as well the part for the v one r will also work? doesn't tower have parts for the tourer?

i wish that tower hadnt closed all of their stores (at least in MA they did) there website has a way of pi$$ing the shizneck out of me. everytime i order somethen i have to wait a year. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif Steve- i hope u find wat your lookin for...

I hate the fact that tower closed it's stores! all of the other shops r tiny and carry no spare parts. Waiting for shipping $ucks! Im in Medfield BTW Car head. Where ru?
