Just so ya know I am actually working on rc bodys.
I recently purchased 3 seperate rc10t trucks on e-bay, took 3 to build 2  .
This body came on one of the trucks, clear with decals. Figured I'd practice on it with the new airbrush.

are MANY, this is a very tough learning curve.
I am hoping for some constructive critique.

I only have one more pic to post, the rotten mutt body

There are no lousy bodies, only those you drive hard with.... Nice work though, leep it up as you'll only get better with experience.

Those are looking good, glad you kept the 'classic' 10T body (Even if it is the streamlined Team Truck version....). A noble cause building a couple of 10Ts: They will last you both a long time.

TOOOOOO many mistakes to list I see :o

Hope your lol with me and not at me

Realized they're not up to grade, but I can handle straight up criticism as well.

Hurt my feelers if you have to.

Thanks

Best piece of advice to pass on (thanks CharlieB), when doing drop shadows, spray your graphic and let the overspray create your drop shadows. You don't need to go heavy on the dark stuff either, just a nice light spray. It should be barely perceptible immediately after spraying. Many painters put a piece of plain white paper up against the lexan to see the shadow because it's so light. If you have doubts about how well it looks, take a look at Leadfoot's and AirBoston's works. The shadows they paint are light, but when backed by a brighter color, they stand out well and give a good 3D effect.

Thanks for the heads up Piggy, just butcherd the hood of the last body pictured  . Paint looked light till I backed it with the main color, shoulda just painted a big blob. Woulda ended up with the same effect.

On a side note, hope nobody takes offense to my replys on this web site, its ALL in good fun and humor. :D

Steve, I refer to that last body as my rotten mutt body as it was viciously attacked by the neighbors dog. Note the teeth marks on the rear quarter panel. Stupid Dog
