I just picked up a 1/10th scale Radio Shack F-350 4x4 monster truck for my daughter.
Its surprisingly quick, has independant suspension, uses 7.2v stick packs, has throttle trim & steering trim adjustments, and even has 3 crystal sets in it so you can change frequency's. It even has no trouble getting over the 4' corrugated pipe lane barriers.
Not too shabby for 50 bucks I thought.
Anyway the steering servo slips something horrible, I took the front end apart and removed the servo, I was just going to replace it with a spare that I had in my pit box but unfortunately its not a conventionally shaped servo so I cant just drop one in.
After a bit of fiddling I came to the conclusion that the servo itself isnt a problem, I think that the servo saver is just slipping too much.
Anyone have one of these that can shed some light on my problem?
