Got off my rear and drove the 1.5 hours to meet with some buddies on Sunday. Need to start doing it more often for sure.

Dropped a new aircooled 27 SIKK in the Super G' a week ago and took it along. By the end of the day, it had two tanks through it and managed to get FLIGHTY 44's. Its a strong engine for sure but has thrown the prop selection out the window. One lap into a prop, you could tell if it was working or not but then again its still on break-in stage. Best one now is a Prop Shop 6717-3. Chris & others, you might want to consider trying this one if you get the chance.

Didn't feel like playing with the tabs, so they were left neutral. The G' is very flighty so I experimented with props that would lift the stern up & this one did the best. Not too much that it hopped. Once the speed starts coming on, the wind lifts the bow too much. Tried a 7016-3 for kicks, & it gave a fantastic top speed but couldn't hold it because it was all over the place. A fun day to say the least.:)

On with the pics now.

Klaus's Bandit.

PSR was represented well. I dropped mine loading in the car & busted a chunch of gel of the stern so it didn't make the trip. A few tears later & we are over it. Time for some body work now. :(

Later in the day, this MHZ Cayman stalled 10 ft from the bank and drifted stern in towards the beach. All the sudden here comes a yellow cat screaming & not letting up. I thought no big deal, he'll make way. NOPE... :( The sound is one you never forget. The cat stayed on line & WHAMMO ! Destroyed the top (not to be found) & did this damage. The fine gentleman that owns this boat has a lot of class & self restraint.

On another note, I'm very surprised as to how good it looks after taking such a hit. Could'a been worse.

yes it was a wonderful time. Some Coors & bratwurst along with plenty of laughs. :D I'm used to running in small places, but not with 4 or 5 other boats. Here you've got to keep it in the racetrack pattern or it'll cause trouble. While trying to avoid a stalled boat, I ran in close to the beach (rocks :O) and jumped a crate of colas stitting in the edge staying cool. What was it going to be, rocks or have a coke? :D:D:D
