hello i have been using my big boat for retrival when i run on the river but lately the river has been so crowded i will be going back to my pond Becouse last weekend my insane hydro was runnin fine until a 32 foot fountain went between me and the boat you do the math a fountain makes 3 to 4 foot swels add a hydro trying to cross that and you get a sunk boat and a mad driver . so if my boat dies in the lake I would like to be able to float out to get it without getting wet and i dont trust the tennis ball trick anyway do you guys know of any cheap rafts or boats if so let me know ???
Untill i can find something my boats are in drydock  i wonder where that fountain guy lives :D kidding..

Walmart & pick up a cheap 1 or 2 man inflatable raft. :)

If you have a Big Lots nearby they have them for under $10.00 . If there isn't a Wally-World near you, there is always K-mart. I can usually pick them up cheap towards the end of summer when they're on sale. I've gotten a 3-man with oars for $23.00 at a Meijer's store (big chain store in Michigan and spreading to neighboring states).

I could not find a raft that would hold me last time i went to wal-mart i found one at acadamy sports that i like it was a 3 man the picture showed to adults and a child so that should be plenty of room for me and my boats i will let yall know how it goes

P.S lookforeward to me posting some running shots i just ordered a digital camera :D

Nice!. dude the fountain tho... man sorry to here about that! Good Q too, i was wondering the same thing my self... and i also ddont se ehow that tennis ball thing works... wont it just turn your boat around and slide by it???? I was thinkin about like a small like tri-barbed shark hook in place of the ball... hehe put some rubber tubing over the hooks. that might be better at grabbing your boat...

With the tennis ball and reel trick you have to snag onto something like the rudder to bring it in. Some use a cup hook on the bow as a snagging point. I've been using a fishing rod with a top-water lure but you have to watch the barbed hooks as they can puncture a water cooling line.
