Is there anywhere on the internet where you can buy a body that is perpainted (for those of us who are artistically challenged)?

Look through some of the major hobby shops and you can find them. If you want something a bit more customized, look up some of the painters on the boards here. Please PM them instead of requesting they prostitute themselves to you, it's a bit more respectful that way.

very nice job seb. your a true artist. for something a bit cheaper, but definately not as nice, you can get most of the bodies you see that come stock on cars, pre-painted. for example, i just bought the venom t-10 truck body prepainted because i didnt feel like painting one, and i can get it for 25 bucks.

Direct from HPIracing.com, all these bodies come prepainted.

Venom T-10 #7735 - 45.00

HPI Racing Impreza #7734 - 55.00

Stiletto V12 #7733 - 45.00

Toureza #7736 - 45.00

Dodge Viper GTS-R #7727 - 45.00

BMW M3 GT #7726 - 45.00

i think eBay is the best option for price, and because there are a lot of them... also some of them are really cool

a lot of the rtr bodies are screenprinted not painted, the revo body is a perfect example of that. i'd offer to paint you a body but i'm working two jobs now and my paint time is extremely limited.

If you go on ebay look under radio control and then do a search on bodies. I made the mistake of putting commas after my title and it screwed up my sale. A body that should have sold for 60.00+ sold for 30.00 because of a lame mistake. My point is that I'm sure that i'm not the only one to have done this so if you look around you'll find that this happens frequently

painting is not the difficult part. its puting the stickers on correctly and trimming it right. a chopped up body with a great paint job still looks chopped up. the correct tools will help though. Dynamite has some great reamers and body scissors.
