in the latest rcbm someone asked about the old MRP bud light tunnel w/ EP1 outboard. heres mine i run on 10 cells currently(no pun intended). still playing with props and setup but it seems to run pretty good.

Hi Brian, good to see you here.

For those that don't know Brian, his family has a history with full scale outboard racing. Sure would be nice if you'd get a thread started with some stuff of yours & your dads past in the "off topic" area. :) I'm sure a lot of guys would be interested.

I remember when they were raceing them .They faded out but seem to be makeing a comeback in a slightly bigger size (12 cells and a 700). The hot setup for your boat was to add a gearbox to the motor .You could run longer and faster.Usually with less motor strain too. n.h.schmidt

But more flex shaft strain, but worth it with the speed increases! :D
