Hey guys i just got back home from military for the last 8 months and am trying to get back into painting. I have just a few questions about liquid masking,

1. how do you get it off the inside of your body once you finish paint?
2.is this something i should be trying if i am still new to painting?
3. can you use it on (full size) cars/motorcycles?

appreciate help

Matt

1. Peal it off. It's a type of liquid latex.
2. You bet. It's easy to use and produces excellent results.
3. I don't see why not, it shouldn't interact/react with most paints. I've never used it on such, so I can't give you first hand knowledge of it. There's a couple of painters on here who also do helmets and other hardware. Hopefully, they'll chime in soon.

Before you ask: Bob Dively's is the stuff you want, has almost no smell, and 8 ounces should get you at least 2 bodies possibly 3 done. 3-5 good coats of the stuff, allowing adequate drying time in between (a hair dryer can speed up the process), and you're ready to rock and roll. Use a new X-acto blade (scalpel works best) to cut the masking.

BTW, welcome back home.
