I just installed my 3 speed tranny, so far so good besides that the engine over revs alot, i think its cause my slipper clutch is a 52 tooth, would putting the stock 49 tooth or even a 47 fix the problem, and has anyone had this problem before? thanks

Putting a smaller spur should increase the rpm your tranny sees in relation to the rpm of your engine. It should activate the centrifugal mechanism sooner and cause it to shift sooner. When I did a similar gearing change my two speed started shifting too early. Hope that helps some.

Try moving to a 15tooth clutch bell and 49tooth spur gear see if this helps you a little this is what i run on mine and sems okay
