i would like some info on the big bore shock if they are good for bashin around?

Compared to the stock ones, absolutely. They are way tougher than the stock plastic ones, can't go wrong with that upgrade as far as bashin' goes.

If i had the option which i did when i had my maxx i would deffy go for the big bore than the stock shocks.Alot depends on what you are doing with the truck as we use to race them and go down to max bash where there are some pretty sweet jumps and the stock ones to incline to pop there tops.
I changed over to the big bore ones and found the initial handling of the truck loads better than stock ones.

Also they have bought the power strokes shocks out as well but i think these are a little more expensive and you also need to buy extras to mount these as shock towers but i could be wrong.

The big bores are way stronger, but you shouldn't notice any performance gain. The only difference between these and the stock shocks is that they are aluminum. Like Savagemachine said, you shouldn't blow any more tops off either.
