ive been trying to get bearing sizes for my maxx so i can do a bulk order from a bearing place... and im lost.... duratrax has a 29 piece kit and dynamite has a 33 piece kit... now when i looked in the duratrax kit it says there r 11 ball bearings that r 5mmX1mm... WHERE THE HELL R THEY? the only bb's i know of r for the diffs, axles and steering... plz help i need to know ASAP

The hubs use 5x11's, so there's 8 of 'em right there. Other than that...I'd assume they're in the tranny.
Oh, and look in your manual and/or parts listing for sizes. They'll list them.

hm... it thought i measured the hubs as the 6X12's.... i dunno but thanx....
can anyone explain y the duratrax kit has 29 bb's while the dynamite has 33?

I'm guessing the Dynamite kit comes with bearings for the bellcranks.
Also, the Dynamite kit is probably twice as much money...buy it anyways. Rubber sealed versus teflon shielded...well...ya...no competition there, especially for a monster truck. You want sealed bearings.

The last time I checked the hubs were 6x12.

Have you heard of Team Blue Star? Thats were I got my bearing for my Tmaxx. blue rubber sealed bearing for every thing. I think it costs me $25.
I dont know if they are still around tho.

It looks like the prices are higher now than they were 2 years ago... $40 for the tmaxx kit. I think I got mine off ebay new from them

im gonna go to a bearing place here in town and see what they will charge me for what i need....
i found out the 5X11's r for the tranny....
