I've got the older T-Maxx with the .15. Here's what I'm looking for. The factory setting for the idle speed screw. I'm thinkin' I may have messed with it so much that it's got my truck running wonky!

1 other problem...when I hammer on the brakes, the truck stalls! Please help!!! My wife wants to kill me cuz she thinks I've bought junk!!

Thanks in advance,

Burkee

Your idle screw isn't in far enough, which is why you're stalling your truck when you hit the brakes. The stop screw stops the servo from closing the carb all the way when you hit the brakes. Pull the air filter off and set it to about a 1/16 of an inch gap or so, maybe even less. You shouldn't need much. The truck shouldn't roll or jerk when idling. If it does, the idle is set too high and your clutch is trying to engage, and burning up in the process. If it dies when you hit the brakes, it's not open enough. Find the sweet spot between those two and you'll be good.
