My other hobby (rocketry) is one of the most expensive out there (next to polo). Someone at our club is flying an Aerotech N2000W motor at a launch in September. That will cost him $720 for just one flight. (i'm not quite THAT addicted yet)

Does owning a house count? Lots of work to be done everyday and can be quite fun.:)
My wife is into Motorcycles and loves to ride (her own scoot). She keeps talking about us doing a double purchase of two of these.

In my prior life, I owned a fullsize boat. Would pull it to work and go slalom skiing on the way home. The R/c boats fill the void.

Not at the moment, although I have been invited into 2 so far. I like playing heavier stuff like Sevendust, Nevermore, Flaw... etc

Right up my alley bro'. Barely got enough rythm to keep my head knoddin' to the beat. Thats it, but I dang sure like some live jam.
Was home in P'cola and tried real hard to make it to Spring Fest. If you've never been, its something else.
Btw, worked stage security for Spender back in '99 at the Fest. Those guys blew my mind. A few other small time bands got up and rocked our stage & put on some good shows.

You didn't mention what strings. My wife works for a company called American Winding that makes strings for Dean Markley and some other brand. She does a variety of work there such as putting the "bullets" on, testing the strings for tune and other things. Being able to play to play a giutar helped my wife to get the job. Me, I have 2 keyboards but I'm not very good on them.
Yeah, I know how expensive hobbies are, after all I run R/C boats and not the cheap ones.

Use the "Go Advanced", not the "Quick Reply". You'll find a place in there to upload pix.

This is my new hobby. It's a 2002 Ford Lightning. Not many people need a 12 second 1/4 mile pick up truck, but it's fun to see the look on Corvette owners faces as you blow by them. ;)

"Kid"! Maybe a kid at heart but not a kid, ;) Payments? What's that? The gas bill no thanks! I just would'nt want to have your engine and drive service bills! The boat is our summer thing and in the winter we do the sandrail, quads & dirt bikes thing. Where do you run your boat? We are in Sourthern CA. but keep our boat in our Lake Havasu, AZ. house.

Just would expect to put forth that kind or effort and money, that it would be for a car worth it and something that will end up fast.

What did you modify to make it run 12 seconds ?
Sand bags in the rear of the bed ?
Soft compound DOT's will net very low 13 seconds.
Nitrous & SC DOT's nets extreemly high twlve second runs.
Slicks & nitrous to get mid twelve second runs.
How did you get yours to go 12 ?
Harry :)

My friend recently crashed his Zen powered chopper in to peaces. Luckily he has few more to spare. I'd be dead if I smash my ZX10R or even my RC gas boat.
