Mini Heli or Mini Plane???

Hi All

I am thinking about getting a mini heli or a mini plane (leaning more towards a heli)
First which one would you choose and why? I want to be able to fly it in my yard.
Second if I get a heli which cheaper model would you suggest?

Right now I'm looking at the Dragonfly and E-flight Blade.

No, after reading lots of reviews and such I decided to stick to land. I've had an Aerobird Xtreme and didn't care for it.

OK, if you don't like the Xtreme, tell us why and we can point you in the right direction. I have hundres of flights with Aerobird Challengers and have many flights on Xtremes.

dont get the dragonfly it is very unstable

Hi ya Quinton, well I can vouch for at least one aircraft and that would be the Parkzone Piper Cub. This little plane came complete, with nothing for me to do but install TX batteries, and charge the planes Nimh battery.

And it flies so nicely, slowly and gently. and has such good looks that one fellow where I fly at said that I was going to have to start paying a "cute tax" to fly it there. :D
I was flying along one day, and a full scale Cessna 172 flew overhead(we are very near a small airport) and we were all quite impressed at how "scale" it looked in the sky with the 172 above and the Cub staying right with it. :cool:

I just got my first heli too BTW, and it is the "Blade CP". I've really been impressed by these new electric micro-heli's and I finally went for it.
Well,..........I got my hands full with this little jewel. I got training gear on it, and am just starting to learn to hover it, not off the ground yet as I have only had it for a few days but boy Im impressed so far with it's sophistication, and good looks, and ease of use. :p

Well, I'll let ya know as soon as I can hover it.....................believe me, EVERYBODY will know about it the day that happens :D
