HELP!!! I am looking for the plans to scratch build a 60" to 70" ( 65- 4 cycle size) Gypsy Moth. I had previously built one, but sold it and the owner I borrowed the plans from, wanted them back... that was 10 yrs ago, and sadly he has passed on and I have no contact. I noticed that in Google, there was a plan page and a former magazine RCM & electonics(not the present one) had the plans but there was no addy to order from or any other info. there are oodles of plans etc for a Tiger but sadly no Gypsy... Nexis has plans and a kit, but I'm not to fussy about their design.
Any info would be appreciated
Thanx

The Dymond Model Company has a very nice 72" ARF version of the Tiger Moth. I flew mine for a number of seasons, but like any ARF, it showed a lot of wear and tear.(About 500 flights.) What I did not know is they have an ARC version and this may be what would be helpful to you. You could beef it up in various regions(firewall area) and modify it to be a bit more scale like in appearance. It flew so well, I am considering doing another one in silver with rib stitching, etc. just for my own amusement. I recommend you check it out. Regards, George

thanx George for the info.
I was talking to one of our club flyers the other day and he said he had some gypsy plans... but they would have to be scaled up. I got the plans and found out they were "Scale" as they showed Folding wings etc, etc.
had a Imaging company blow the plans up to a 68" WS and it looks pretty good. will probably go about 8 ro 9 lbs and be perfect for the Saito 65 fs. Sort of hard to get back into Scratch building after being away for about 10 yrs... but little things come back ( of course after I have done the wrong thing and have to re-do, re-do and re-do ) Oh well back to the drawing boards. :( BUT IT SURE LOOKS NICE!! :D
