Plans of working 40mm Bofor for PT Boat.

I'm trying to find some plans or a design concept for a working 40mm bofor cannon to suit a large scale patrol boat.I don't want a BB cannon.I would like the cannon to have both sound and smoke effect and possibly the recoil effect.I have some idea's but could do with some assistance.Can anyone help?

What scale are you looking for is the first item to answer. From there I may be able to find some stuff. Also, How many do you need to make? 1 or 2?

Thanks for the reply h00t74.The scale is approx 1:24.The number of bofors is definitely 1, but 2 would be good.I have seen a design for a propane powered bofor in approx the scale required but the guy didn't release all the info - especially in relation to the ignition and reload system.Only the basic build.
