im getting back into this hobby and noticed that they stopped carrying some of the older models. I stopped the hobby about a year after the rc10b2 came out. During then shops still had alot of rc10 aluminum kits and wide range of parts for them and such to offer. Now it seems as though shops carry mainly rc10b3 parts. i havent seen one rc10b2 kit for sale yet. any reason why?

Yeah, they're not made anymore. The manufacturers I believe are to the point that they can't afford to keep making parts for the older outdated chassis while still working on new ones, so the let some go(like the B2, Losi LXT, & so on).... :)

yea. you can buy a kit to make a b2 into a b3. Not much is differnt on the two kits. A diffent slipper clutch, and the front turnbuckles hook on in a different spot is about all thats different i think. A-arms might be changed.
But most b3 parts will work on a b2
