First my track i will be racing on has tight truns and short straights what spur and pinion should i use? 26-27 pinion
Second I was wondering what ESC,Batterys,Servo,Stock Motor,Hop-Ups should i get i would like t race stock class and i have had other RC cars before this.decent 1700-2000s should work, a hitec ballbearing servo 9cheap/affordable)
Thrid what radio should i get? really depends on what you like, need, and budget
Forth is there maybe a better car than the Team TC3?different drivers like different cars, so it depends. tc3 was car of the year though ;)
Fifth how long does i take to build? actual building from scratch if youre good 2-3 hrs. max
Sixth what tools do i need?you can invest in some hex drivers, though they arent necessary
Seventh What body would b a good choice of the stock bodys? stratus is the all-around body
Eighth what Tires are good for ozite carpet?no clue... :D
ninth, the best price you think you can find

The spur/pinion combo is different for each motor you run. In the back of the TC3 manual there is a list of recomended pinions for the stock spur (72 tooth). For stock motors a 28tooth is recommended, I tend to run a 29.
Depending on how serious you want to be when it comes to racing there are many different combinations for electronics. I will list the best stuff (in my opinion). They are more expensive, but you get what you pay for...
esc - CycloneTC or LRP7.1 (both very good)
Batteries - Matched 2400 or Stock Metal (depending on charger)
Servo - Airtronics 94357 (high speed, Hi Torque, BB, Metal Gear)
Motor - P2K (torque), GM3 (RPM), MVP (between the two) Different people have their favorites
Hopups - Springs (check with people at your track), Transponder/servo mount (better looking and less feeble than lexan), Bumpers/nerf wings
Radio - Anything you have, I use an M8 because I have all 6 of my cars programmed into it. There are some nice features on it, but it's also expensive. Biggest key here is find what features you want, and then see how it feels in your hand! Nothing worse than an unconfortable radio.
Only better car in my opinion is the Factory Team TC3 (that's what I have). I really like the threaded shock bodies (makes setup much easier and more exact). Also the aluminum motor mount/heat sink are nice. There are little things, like a bunch of graphite parts, that make the kit worth it. If you do get the FT kit though I recommend NOT using the aluminum battery holder (can short out packs if you use sidexsides) or the aluminum CVDs (cost too much to replace when bend/break - graphite is lighter, doesn't bend, and a whole set is like $6 not $30).
It takes about 5 hours or so to build the car, that's a conservative number for someone who is not farmiliar with AE kits. The instructions are very easy to follow and the kit just makes sense (like all AE kits). Once you get experience with how the car goes together you can take it all the way appart and put it back together in about 2 hours (did it last night).
Tools - The kit comes with most everything you need as far as hex wrenches. They recommend that you also have: Phillips driver, needlenose pliers, soldering iron, threadlock (blue Loctite), CA glue, Exacto nife, ruler, electrical & strapping tape (I never used either). A nice thing to have, that is great with the threaded shock boddies, is a vernier calipers ($25 at home store).
Body - Lots of people use the Stratus (has good aerodynamics for turning), the 300m (most aerodynamic = speed), but any 190mm body will work.
Tires - Have no idea, check with the guys at your track.
Price - Tower has the team for $209 and the Factory Team for $299. Those are the best prices around, but talk to your LHS and they might be able to make a deal with you. Also, then if you need any help they'll be happy to give it to you.
Good luck with the new car, and if you have any more questions just ask them. Also check out the "search" function for other TC3 posts, there are tons on hopups and stuff like that.

TCorzett, What?? You use an M8 radio that could control your 6 cars. You just have one radio? Not six radio?? How you do that? I think M8 radio only included two servos. Or you just have one M8 and bought more servos for 5 cars? Wow that is clever idea. I'd like to have one radio instead of many radios. ;)

The M8 has a multi-car memory feature (many new radios do now). Each of my cars run on the same frequency (sucks when friends want to drive my other cars at the same time). All I do is turn on my radio and select which car I'm going to be driving and all the settings are ready to go.
I buy high-torque hi-speed servos for all my cars anyhow, and a reciever is needed for each car -- the only added cost is an extra crystal if the reciever isn't the same as I want to run.
It's great to just grab a car and my radio and go. The initial investment for the M8 is quite large, but it's an awesome radio! Then it's just a matter of changing the crystals/recievers in the other cars to work with it. So now whenever I buy a new car I don't have to worry about buying a new radio - or switching stuff out before I drive.

TCorzett, AWESOME... How can I find M8 radio? I have new one Hitec Lynx FM radio..That sucks.. I dont think my radio would handle more r/c cars. Which one M8 radio is FM or AM?? Does M8 radio manual book show how to control with many cars? You are lucky man! LOL

TCorzett, I found M8 in TowerHobbies. IT is in stock. LX0755** Airtronics M8 3 Channel FM/2 102Z Servos 269.99...Wow that sounds like very good radio. What kind of servos reciever for many cars that will work with M8?

You will need a reciever, esc, servos, etc (all the electronics) for each car (so 5 cars = 5 sets of electronics).
You need Airtronic compatable 2 or 3 channel recievers (talk to LHS, or just buy Airtronic recievers).
Buy the same frequency for each reciever (same as the radio). Note - crystals come in pairs, one for the Reciever (RX) and the other for the Transmiter (TX). THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGABLE! So you need to buy a complete set of crystals for each car (or buy recievers with the same frequency crystals).
Then just make one of the memory profiles for each of the cars. Manual is quite nice too.
Then switch between the profiles when you want to use different cars... Easy as that. All the settings are saved in the radio.

Go to Sears or Home Depot and get some Nut drivers. Get at least the smallest one, all the guys I know with TC3s stripped it while building the kit.

Hey GearGuy, I would sell it for $70. It never use for long time since I been saving money for equipment to run my TC3. My TC3 is still has no luck to run. My radio is Hitec Lynx FM 2 Channel radio that comes with reciever and one servo in the box. I have to take servo and reciever out of my TC3 if you bought it. Radio is very clean and still look new. Please feel free to email me. ;)

I think i have decided to go a step down and get the racer tc3 because of money limitations
1. The racer is 140 compared to 190
2.The radio costs 160 with a servo
3.motor costs 25
4.the esc costs 120
that = 445 dollars about that is alot for a x-mas present
