I have been looking for eons trying to find a die cast replica of this car. So far I have only seen just one Die Cast replica that sold on eBay for over $150. If theres anyone out there thats familiar with this movie and knows of any place that sells a die cast model of this wonderful car, please post the location here for me!

DMCL '69 Charger is a great movie car, but it is often overshadowed by the Bullitt '68 and Dukes/General Lee '69. And because the movie itself has wallowed in relative obscurity for 30 years (although it was just recently released on DVD) diecast companies have not grabbed the opportunity it presents.
Tamiya84 -- a couple things to note. The stripe on the side of the '69 is not a factory stripe -- it was cooked up by the prop guys on the set of the movie to dress up the cars and obscure the fact that 3 different Chargers were used during fiming (a '69 R/T, a '69 base coupe, and a '68 coupe). A couple of plastic model guys sell decal sets for 1:24, but if you are doing 1:18 then you'll probably need to do your own. I suggest buying the DVD -- it will help you with the fine detail, and its worth adding to any car guy's collection anyway.
The wheels were American Racing pieces, though I don't know the exact model.
There is a lot of debate out there about the color of the car -- is it yellow or green, is it factory or not? Well, its obvious the 3 cars were painted special for the film (stripes, etc.) so it could be a custom color. It is definitely not a factory color from '69 (or '68). It could be the factory 1970 color Sublime, but that looks a bit too greenish to me. If you're interested, here's a great site for factory paint colors:Paint Color Library (http://www.autocolorlibrary.com/cgi-bin/search/search.pl)
Anyway, good luck on your project, and be sure to email pix of the finished piece in to dcx@airage.com.
Good luck!

Well, where are the pics.? I wish someone would do a version of this car, I would buy one.
Also, why has there never been a GTO made like the one in Two Lane Blacktop?

With cult movies like Two Lane Blacktop, sometimes licensing an official version can be legally complicated or expensive. But since Warren Oates' GTO was essentially a stock '70 Orbit Orange Judge, no official movie version is necessary.
GMP did a 1:18 version -- its now discontinued, but you might find one here or there on eBay or at a retailer.
Philly Mint commissioned a 1:24 version from GMP which is on sale at least through the end of the year. Here's a link (http://www.phillymint.com/gmpmuscleshopcart/GMP804124.htm)
Good luck!

Well, Ertl did the '55, I just wish they would have done the GTO. :)

Well, Ertl did the '55, I just wish they would have done the GTO. :)
After a little digging, it seems Ertl also did a '70 Cuda and a '69 Daytona badged as Two Lane Blacktop cars, although neither was very prominent in the film and the 'Cuda has the wrong engine (the 'Cuda in the film was a Hemi, but the model is a 440). But for whatever reason, they did not do a GTO and I suspect that it has to do with licensing, although we'll probably never know for sure.
All 3 TLB cars were released in 2002 -- the two Mopars are listed on eBay but the '55 may be tougher to find.
If you are looking for a GTO to go with the '55, my advice would be to go after the GMP 1:18 -- its more expensive but the detail and quality is substantially better. There's at least 1 of them on eBay right now as well.
