last time I checked charlie at novak never said about the novak super duty XR handling brushless motors:

read the questions near the bottom. I emailed this person to tell him that it does not run brushless mootrs and his response:
"yes it does with the right connection on a higher turn brushless motor."

Sure it will....if you rearrange some things, add a third wire, make sure the FETs are arranged so that you have 3 phases (something like that, I dunno), and get completely new software. :rolleyes:
All I must say is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!
Munim- I think you're right. And since brushed ESCs are DC to the motor.... yeah, you can figure that out. LOL!

CharlieS gave you the correct info..Super Duty XR does not handle Brushless motors.

2 phase esc being sold as a 2/3 phase esc. I feel sorry for the guy that bought it. the lrp shpere is a 2/3 phase esc and I think one of the newer novak esc's also will do 2 and 3 phast. So you can run brushed "2 phase" and brushless "3 phase" motors with it.

I don't think that ebay cares. I've seen alot of this lately. I've even emailed the seller in the past waring them that this type of action is prohibited by ebay laws that you agree'd to. But most of them don't do anything and hope that a sucker bites.
