Hi-
I have just bought my first glow plane, and am having some problems with my engine. I can get it to start and run for a little over a min, but as I start to adjust my needle valve it stops. The RPS drop rapidly and it stops. The trottle at the time is close to wide open, and I am oppening th valve to break in the engine. I have some problems with keeping fuel in the line, but when the tank is full or the engen running it seems to be fine. Any help would be great--thanks

Hi,
It sounds very much like the tank is too low in the nose. The top of the tank should be above the level of the needle valve when the plane is level. Some higher is OK, but as the tank get's too low, the symptoms are very much like what you describe.
Regards, Dave

Thanks dave, I was able to wedge the tank up a little, which helped with the plumbing problem. I also think that I was opening the throttle a little too much while I was breaking it in. I just had my first flight today and man this is a great hobbie!
