Hopefully Jamie can help on this one but everyone else is welcome to jump in.

Wanting to get a good brushless set up for the mini inferno.
Now because it's a bit bigger and about 1/2 pound heavier than the RC18t the mamba comp packages are having a hard time moving these small buggies and are overheating and cogging.

Most guys are using the AON4900 motor with the mamba controller and getting great results :) , here is a link to a pic of that set up http://www.halfeight.com/forums/showthread.php?t=761.

Now this combo is going for around $145 and i was wondering if there is a better motor to use with the mamba controller.I know Jamie is coming out with the Feigao 380 motors for a good price and was wondering if this would be siutable and would it fit the mini inferno , also which model Feigao to use with 2 /3s lipo packs.

I run a Feigao 130-12L motor in my RC18T. It's considered a Speed 400 replacement.
It should do the job. Another option would be one of the short Mega 400 sized motors. I don't have those stocked but will be adding them to the store once I get settled in the new location. Downside to the Megas is the open can design. I think the 380 Feigao motors will be too long.
