I have a Futaba skysport 6 and a 7ch Futaba RX with dual conversion. When I turn on my system, as soon as I turn on the TX, the servos start to twitch rapidly (this is with antenna down). As I move the RX around they twitch at different speeds. Sometimes they will stop momentaraly. When the antena is extended they stop, however they start shortly after as I walk away to range test it. Help! I have no idea of how to solve this problem, The antenna has some kinks but feels solid. My only thought is the power. I have a Futaba 4.8v NiCdhooked up to it, which is what the specs call for. I out a meater on it and it holds a charge fine. Its 72.650MHZ on chan 43. any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks :(

Ok so I have been doing some research and I found that I have a high ban RX. could this cause the twitching? and can i change the band? thanks again.

Hi,
The band would have nothing to do with this problem. If all of the servos are showing this characteristic, it is very likely that the receiver is either out of tune, or has a damaged component. It would be a big help if you could check your transmitter with someone else's receiver. Sometimes a component can go bad in the transmitter, and cause instability.
Cheers, Dave

Thanks Dave. Ill try switching with a friends to see if the problem is the recever or the transmitter. I picked up both used, so I wouldn't be suprized if there is a problem with one of them. Thanks again.
