Since I am a member of this forum I have read a number of letters from newcomers in trouble with an engine, radio, servos, construction, ect...
Most of the time the letters content clearly shows that our new friend has got no idea (no offence here) about.
Of course I have been in trouble with something in this hobby too.
The point is that we just go to the shop, buy the stuff we have been dreaming of and expect everything to be smooth automatically.
Then we struggle to get our plane airbone by ourselves and we finally crash it like nothing else.
As a consequence some demoralize and leave this wonderful hobby for good.
We do not want this happen, we rather would like to see the number of modelers increase.
My message is simple. Do not try to get the solution to your problems through this forum. I understand that the wish to see our plane flying soon is uncontrollable, and we can't help ourselves, but what can likely happen if things go wrong is even worse than beeing a bit more patient for a while.
Do not be selfish, let a friend take over and make the preliminary adjustments for you. This will save your budget from going into the trash can!
You will have plenty of time to become expert and fully enjoy this hobby afterward.
Hoping to see more smiling faces,
Franco
