want to run remote sound system

How can I run a remote sound system in my tug. I have a little song that I want to run periodically in the tug. What do I need to store the song and what do I need to activate it remotley? I want to replay the song from time to time, so I need an endless taperecorder or is there an electronic device that it can be stored on?

a few questions spring to mind. how long is the song? how loud do you want it? how much space do you have in the tug. offhand I'ld guess some form of solid state device would prolly suit your needs better than tape, course I suppose one could use a 'mr microphone'(karioke) thingy with a simple rx might work...:)

I put a CD player in my Creole Queen steamboat along with a couple of those small speakers. I play calliope music with steamboat sounds in it and it's quite loud. My only problem is that i have to start the player in advance, but after that I can set it on repeat. You will need for your space to be about 6inches wide for it to fit. I imagine that one of those MP3 players would occupy less room, but you could still use the speakers plugged into the earphone jack.
