Hi,

Brushless gurus- I need help programming my new Warrior ESC for a Hyper 7 Pro conversion.

I have tried many times to follow the instructions, but I can't get it to work. One of two things happens:

1. I get the first beep (which is supposed to set throttle neutral), hold the throttle trigger, then I get 2 beeps. It is supposed to beep once to set the forward throttle, then give 2 beeps after setting reverse.

2. Or, I get no beeps at all.

Whichever scenario happens, the result is that the buggy goes full-throttle from neutral after I re-install the jumper. I've tried trimming, reversing, and exponential settings which did not seem to help much. I'm using a Futaba 3PM radio.

I'm following the procedure in the directions, which is to disconnect the Rx and batteries, remove the jumper, turn on radio, re-attach Rx and batteries, then program. After programming I disconnect everything again and re-install the jumper.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I had trouble programming my 9918 once, until I figured out I was putting the red jumper where the bec jumper was. I don't use the Warrior's internal bec so I had the black jumper removed and was getting the two sets of pins mixed up.

Have you tried using a different radio system? It never hurt to use the process of elimination to determine what the problem is.

I was finally able to program the Warrior. I didn't touch it for almost a week and was considering other options including returning or selling the ESC.

I tried one more thing which was to use the Traxxas TQ3 radio on the 50/50 setting with the throttle trim dialed all the way to the right before programming. It worked, so now it's running, and I guess I don't mind being on AM and having to use the Maxx radio. My other radios don't have a 50/50 setting and I can't trim far enough from 70/30 to get the ESC to find neutral.

My next brushless ESC won't be a BK.
