thanks for the answer but what kind of shocks would fit the savage other than the savage shocks?

There several aftermarket shocks out there for the Savage! Just use the search feature and ye shall find an abundance of shocks. It is just personal preference as to which is better. I have Integy MSR5 and Hot Bodies Aluminum and Stock.

I am working on a shock tower that will allow the use of either buggy shocks (like the onfa 9.5 pro's in the pic) or the pro-line power stroke shocks.. These are designed stricly for racing but are CNC machined out of .5" thick Delrin..

Thanks...
Well you have to have the LST shock adapter bracket first off.. Then you have to drill holes in the Aarm for the bottom mount.. Then the real catch is that you have to run off set rims to clear the big shocks.. There is a guy Kudos that makes a kit that will allow the shocks to be mounted with standard off set rims but I have heard they were not holding up.. and he may have disscontinued the kits..

True, but not too long ago I saw some aftermarket suspension arms for the Savage that allowed you to use T-Maxx sized shocks. The upper arms had mounting locations.
