Either way, I'm the owner of a Saber 40 now because the deal became sweeter after a few emails. Its a little late but I was currious about your .02 from guys that have seen or owned them. Kinda kicking myself because its 40" long vs the 45" of the Sport. But for the cheese I spent, hum, hum,,, might just have to make it work:rolleyes:

My engine options are wide open but it will be simple. For engines we've got 230RC & 27 Sikk mod aircooled motas along with a few 231/260s. I'm thinking a simple strudder package either Octura or Aeromarine w/ square drive as I don't like collets. Even have an Enforcer Iso-Pad to simplify if room allows.

Here's the boat I just bought. Solid white so it'll be a blank canvas.

A sweet deal is a sweet deal & this was pure syrup. :) Getting out? I think all the time about selling everything and walking completely away again. :o Then a boat like this comes along & you don't have to purchase all the hardware so it becomes easier. Who knows, might not even build it but for the cheese, I can let this one sit for a long while & not feel bad about it.

So, would you sell it for what you payed for it??? LMK. Would be a while away but if you want to sit on it.

Ya right. :p Thats the whole purpose behind buying it is to not feel guilty.:)

The one thats on my mind is the Bandit. Was dissapointed it didn't sell but the wife really don't care. She told me don't worry about it because it'll bring some good cheese in Spring or just keep it and quit worrying. Love the boat, but at the moment, don't feel like giving it the time it deserves. Would be nice to completely finish it the way it should be.
