i saw in rcca years ago n they showed the machine how to form/make your own lexan bodies,i think it was expensive.this is gonna be a tough 1!i dont know of anyone that makes custume bodies n it would be expensice to do!i ams ure u would have to make a mold first.

Perhaps you can try "adapting" a Tamiya bodyshell by grafting panels onto it using fiberglass mat and resin and/or styrene plastic. You'd have to paint the bodyshell on the oustide, but at least you'd have something close to what you want. The other suggestion would be to fire off a letter to any of the major manufacturers like Tamiya or HPI or even Hot Bodies, suggesting that particular bodyshell. With the growth of the "Tuner/Drifter" segment of the R/C market, they would be foolish to ignore the possibilities of catering to this fast growing niche. Good luck.

^^^ that is a good idea. it would be kool to be able to make your own... :rolleyes: me having idea with making molds :D anyways yeah send a letter to the manufacterer

when this process is used, the shell is basically a show unit right??

Supra - That's probably a good idea.

bootspike - Yes, it going to be pretty much a "shelf queen". The lexan flexes at a different rate than the rest of the grafted cosmetics that it would all start falling apart after a minor crash.
