I want to get a screw kit for my T-maxx 2.5. Any one have any suggestions like companies and should go stainless steel or aluminum i know i want hex heads and don't want to spend a arm and a leg for a kit.

I bought a stainless steel kit and had trouble with the heads stripping on the ones I routinely had to take off to do add hopups and make mods. I also had several break in collisions, skidplate and bulkhead screws.

I'll only use the hardened alloy steel screw kits - they are stronger than SS and the heads don't enlarge - they are harder than stainless. I haven't broken one of those yet. Tony's screws are only like $6 more than rcscrewz kits. Slapmafo also sells the alloy steel screw kits.

These are Slapmafros - I use either, both places have quick shipping -

i bought rc screwz and they were terrible.. stripped out like 10-15 of them just putting them in... and about 80% of them were either short or long.. ranging anywhere from .5mm to 1.5mm.... and i used good quality tools.... just a warning...

1971 Plymouth Duster - yep, have a 360 modded V8 and drive train ready to start the transplant. Original owner, 282,000 orig miles, but it is/was a Slant 6. I am restoring it back to what I couldn't afford to pay for when I graduated form college in '71. The 6 was all the bank would let me buy, lol. Can't complain, its been a great car, taken me thru lots!
