I've never used liquid mask before and I'll like to make a try, wich likid mask you consider the best and how do yo apply to the body. Any tutorial arround the forum that shows it? Thanks

I use Bob Dively's. I've used that Hobbico crap before and Dively's is the better one. I have a pint of the stuff and i have done like 3 bodies and still have 2 left at least. Just pour a little into a clean shell and spread it around nice and thick with a cheap chinese brush. when the film becomes opaque, lay on one or two more heavy coats and then you are set.

Z, definitely go with Dively's for LM. You won't find a better stuff.

I use 3 layers of Dively's paint mask sprayed on with my HVLP. I used to brush it on, but with the HVLP I get smoother coats that dry faster. It's easier to cut lines when the mask is smooth. It's still easy to peel off too.

You can buy the liquid mask off towerhobbies.com I just have my LHS order me the 32 oz bottle and I have enough to do dozens of bodies.

I'm from Spain, never saw that tower was carrying this stuff, maybe never took a look at it :o FrankW what does it mean HVLP? , i allways have problems to get the meaning of the abreviations american people use :D.

High Volume Low Pressure. It's a paint sprayer that can shoot a lot of paint with relatively low pressure... like an oversized airbrush.

What about parma'a new stuff that they sell in upto 32 ounce bottles I have used it and it works great brushed on!
