Does any one know where I can get two 7ch concept radios updated? If not there going into the trash. They still work, but I need new recivers and stuff. Anywho.

Radios have become so inexpensive it is probably not worth updating that radio. Better off getting new stuff.

I use an old Conquest FM for a buddy box and to run a flight simulator.

I NEVER saw a futaba conquest radio "fail" the AMA narrow band requirement (AM, FM gold stickered or not). As a matter of fact, with the exception of the 6 volt model of the tower hobbies tan metal box radio, i have yet to see a decent crystal controlled radio not meet the requirement (wal-mart / radio shack RC not considered decent by my standards).

You may , however, run into problems.
1) if you fly at a club you may have people complain that the radios dont have a "gold sticker". Please note: It is not "illegal" to operate a radio that is not "gold stickered"! Because you do not have a "gold sticker" means you havent had it checked. By history of the conquest radio, I would say you have a 99% chance it is within the narrow band spec. Like with my car, if it runs good, gas mileage is good, and check engine light is not on, I could tell with almost certainly, it will pass emmissions ...with or without a state emission sticker.

2)By the time you buy all the pieces (servos, new batteries ect) to use it, it probably wont be cost effective.

Moster,
Do you think my Tower System 500 AM Gold Case 6 ch 9.6 volt (8 cells) radio would pass the gold sticker test? It is circa 1983 and still functions perfectly. Thanks
