I've leveled down a choice of trucks to a Revo or a T Maxx. I am more for bashing the truck then racing it. which truck is gonna to the world of truck bashing the most justice.

Bashing, you are better off with the maxx, if you ever wanted to race, you might be better getting the revo. But if all your future plans are bashing, go with the T-Maxx!

2 of 1 and a 1/2 dozen another lol
if it were me i would definatly buy the revo first choice for bashing and racing ,i had the maxx and i would have sooner had the revo hands down ,not bashing the maxx but to make it into a good basher you need to upgrade suspension first off and then work from there
IMO buy the revo

^^^ agree. If you're willing to spend the money to upgrade the Tmaxx in its weak areas or upgrade things as you break them, then Tmaxx may be the slightly better basher. RCCA ran them head to head and it was almost dead even. Out of the box, though, I think Revo would be better choice even for a basher.

Tmaxx can be a fine basher, just takes the added time and money to get it there.

While neither would be my first, second, or even third choice for racing or bashing, between the two, the Revo is a FAR, FAR superior truck, especially for bashing. The T-Maxx is a capable race truck in the right hands, but without a lot of money thrown at it, it's not a good basher. The Revo on the other hand...well...like I said, I wouldn't buy one, but that doesn't mean I don't think it's a good truck. It is a good truck, and it's what you want if you're going to buy Traxxas.

metalry101 why do u not like the revo or the t-maxx they are both the best trucks on the market for a wide range on things.

You ever owned any of the other truck on the market? Or anything that's not a Traxxas?

no but i have driven a savage and its better then a t-maxx at bashing. don;t care about the monster gt. i like the lst but never have been able to drive one and a revo with the long travel suspension can get up and over just about anything look at the video of the revo rock project on traxxas.com

Rock crawling? That's a deciding factor when it comes to nitro monster trucks? Good call.

The Savage is a better basher than just about anything, if not everything.

Why care about the best overall truck on the market when you can buy something flashier? The MGT is boring to look at, and instead of trying to be "new and innovative," it continues working. So it's old-fashioned compared to a lot of trucks? That's fine with me, and most every other MGT owner out there. There's a reason you damn near never hear about dissatisfied MGT owners. They're very, very hard to find.

As for the LST...ya...it rocks.

How do I know these things? Because I've owned most of these trucks, and the ones I haven't owned, I've driven, a lot.

Like I said though, the Revo is a good truck. I don't like it, and I would probably never buy one, but it's still a good truck. The T-Maxx on the other hand...well...it used to be good. In the modern monster trucking world however, it's far too brittle and hard to control at speed to be a worthwhile contender.

metalry101 I agree with what u said but i cant say anything about a monster gt because i have never even seen one in person let alone drive one. i'm getting a revo soon and will mod it for a good basher, hill climber, and rock crawler. i just want to get some new tires for it when i get it the stockers don't look like they wouldn't be good for anything but hard packed/semi loose dirt and i run on semi loose dirt, mud, rocks, roots, grass, and over grown weeds because my maxx stopped working so my hill is over grown with weeds
I WANT MASHERS OR MULCHERS would these be good choices i have $80 to spend on tires, wheels and ca may be more $$ but i don't knwo right now the most i would have would be 120
