i have used a spektrum z270 throttle servo for one day and not it "catches". it seems like it is locking up until lyou move it alittle then it frees itself for about 1-2 back and fourth turns.
did the servo go bad or did i damage it through improper installation. (savage k4.6) i am stumped. before i go out and buy another, i would like to know why the other one failed so soon. :confused:

Hmmm, is it binding on something? Does it do it without the linkage attached? Did you use the right servo horn? Also, it could very well be a defective servo.

it does do it w/o the linkage / horn attached

It sounds to me like a defective unit, I'd call Horizon to see if you could get another one.
