receiver crystals

I own a rustler which I control using a Hitec Aggresor FM system. Well, I recently picked up a R/C boat and wanted to control it with the same system. I went to my LHS and purchased another Hitec receiver but they were out of crystals and had them on backorder since March. My question is this....Do I have to use a Hitec crystal or can I use any brand crystals as long as they are FM?

sometimes after market brands will work with certain manufactures radios other wise you will probally have to stick with hitech.read the labels carefully!! or you can check out some on-line hobby stores like towerhobbies or stormerhobbies to see if they have your crystals in stock, good luck
