OK, this one’s got me stymied……
Have been looking at some entry-level 2 channel radio systems and was pretty close to settling on the Futaba 2PL. Looks like a pretty decent radio w/some nice features at that price range.
The confusion is with the receiver that comes with the 2PL (the 142JE). It appears that this particular Rx may NOT a BEC Rx. Looking at Tower and some other R/C sites, it’s a little fuzzy as to whether it’s BEC or not. Amazing to think that the 2PL, which is the newer of their 2-channel systems, would not have a BEC Rx.
Anybody shed any light on this? Thanks.
