Newbie and a question

Hi guys, i'm not new to RC but new to this great forum :) . I have a question for you, i'm about to get a Hitec Aggressor SRX radio is it any good?? :confused: i have a friend that races with one and i think it's a good radio but what you think about it, technical problems and things like that.

in my opion,i would never buy any thing made by hitech,its garbage, buy a futaba radio!i just ahd to hack up a tamiya esc to get the hitech rx plug to fit.years ago i had a hitech esc n it was garbage!futaba is all i use!i dont even like the radios that coem with the rtr traxxas ,they r chessy too!

Is Hitec that bad? Their SRX and CRX looks pretty good, plus I keep reading about their great customer service.

The Hitech Lynx TX (radio) that came with my RC10 gt is alot nicer than the lower-end Futaba and stuff I have.

No, Hitec is not that bad at all. I have several of their servos and I am very happy with them. A buddy of mine uses the Aggressor SRX and is also very satisfied. Fester, Hitec and Futaba use different plugs but that doesn't make one or the other junk, a simple trimming of the servo plug is all it takes ;)

Thanks for the replys. now I have radio, receiver and servo from Hitec in my touring race car, and after some training and one race I'm happy, hope this will last without problems as long as the Sanwa equipment I use in my nitro cars :)

I have been running all Hitec servos and radios for over 6 years, all has been great.
