Question On Associated A.I. ESC's

Quick question:

Do the Associated A.I. line of Reversible ESCs feature reverse disable?? These are the ones (like the Pro Reverse or Super Reverse) that have the automatic setup procedure with no buttons to press on the ESC itself.

Assume that they have reverse disable but wasn’t clear from the descriptions I was reading.

Nope. I've got the bullet version and there's no way to disable reverse at all. Great basher speedo though.....

I like that Super reverse. I dialed out the reverse with my Futaba 2PL. Not really gone but the controller has ABS setup(antilock brake system) and keeps me from backing up during a race. But the ESC works flawlessly. On my 15T motor.

Interesting. That's the new radio system I recently bought. Also ended up getting a Futaba ESC for the car. Just got them last weekend and haven't even installed the ESC yet.

So how do you dial out reverse with the ABS feature?? Trying to remember the settings...low, medium, high? Something like that. I guess the other question is it legal for racing, i.e., can you still enter races w/o having actual reverse diasble on the ESC?

Almost all races I've been at allow the speed controller to have reverse. Just don't use it. Cause if the see you do it, your leaving. As for the settings I use fast on small tracks, and slow on large tracks. Hope this helps.
