Has anyone ever heard of a way to feed the output of a computer gamers' joystick & foot pedals into a transmitter? Could the buddy box connection be used for this purpose?

You know, I have never heard of this. I do know that at one time they made a cockpit for RC. I looked and felt like a cub cockpit, but it was attached to the transmitter. A helper turned you to look at the model. You can find plans for it somewhere. Oh, and when you do, please tell me where they are. I have been looking, but I do not know of many places to search. This did not answer your question, but at least it gives another option should the joystick and peddal idea fail.

The easiest way that I can see to do this is to actually modify a transmitter and the joystick/pedals. You would have to tie the variable resistors from the joystick and pedals into the transmitter in place of the ones that are mechanically connected to the sticls on the transmitter. If you go this way, be sure that the resistors vary in the correct direction for the setup that you want. I haven't done it, but the parts are the same(repaired both at different times, that's how I know the setup). The simplest parts to use would be the old school(read as one or two button) joystick and pedall. They are usually easier to get into and cost less to use. Good luck. :)
