check out the duratrax ICE. great charger and can be had for around $120. charges everything but the battery in your real car.

If price is no object then go with either a Competition Electronics Turbo35GFX or a Futaba CDR5000

Depends on what you'e looking to spend - if thee is no dollar limit, Futaba CDR5000 would be the one I'd got for. Decked out, its about $500, but will do everything imagineable. Think RCCA did a review a yr or so back on high end chargers and the CDR wa samong those reviewed.

Reasonable expense - ICE, thats what I've got and mine's charging a batt right now.

If money was not an issue, best charger to get is the CE T35GFX. Best bang for the buck would probably be the duratrax ICE. Heck, buy both.. you can't live with just 1 charger.

The Competition Electronic GFX are the top of the line chargers. But at $300 plus you'll also need a good power supply. It will charge, discharge, and break in or do motor tests. However for about 1/3 the cost you can buy a new 112A or 112C which is AC and has a hookup to power the 112A. I own 4 new 112A with H31 and 2 112A with H27 (have not been upgraded) and all charge NiMh cells. I also own 2 each of the Integy 16x5 and 16x5v6 but the v6 does not charge 4cells unless you reduce the voltage of power supply down to 12.5 volts those are good chargers. Yes I own a GFX as well that I felt I needed to do some battery testing. So what I might do is buy another or newer CE and sell some of the others.

I have the lrp pulsar 2 and the ice chargers and my old tekin is getting new software.
today went to a state offroad race and many people tied into the outlets. the power went up and down..... the lrp went right on charging ... while the ice kept showing the error message on imput voltage... love them both....

Schulze builds some of the best chargers around. The top of the line model is over $800 I believe. Even my budget model put most praised car chargers to shame.
