I recently installed one on my tlt and the steering works but no motor. I checked the output voltage when I pull the trigger and it goes to 7.4V but as soon as I hook a motor up it only goes to .4V when I pull the trigger. I set it up properly, can someone please help. Thanks.
which motor is it ?? and is it a new motor ?

I learned the hard way, the XRS is purely a SPORT ESC. I was going to run it in my MF1 and it ran fine for about 4 minutes and it got really hot quick and went into "thermal overload". I thought it was faulty so I exchanged for another, ran 2 packs in it and the same thing, and all this only with a C2 (19 turn ). I emailed Novak about this and they told me the ESC is only designed to be use with "Sport" motors not race grade. Now I run a GT7 and man what a world of difference. Better response and run time is no issue or heat. The motor can be blistering hot and the speed control only temps 75-80 max, as well as 15 minute run times. Hope this is helpfull in the info.
