M8 vs. M11 - Need Help

This last weekend someone let me use their M8 radio. WOW. I couldn't believe how nice and comfortable it felt.

I'd really like to get one, and I know where there are still a few available, but I read that the M11 has a nice "sunblock" cover over the display and that the M8 displays were easily harmed when in the sunlight. Money isn't an object here, but I've heard that the M11 doesn't feel the same as an M8, and no one I know has one yet (nor do my LHS's), so I can't hold one and try it for myself.

Don't sweat over that decision buy the M-11. Both of those radios feel great the M -11 is a tad bulkier though. If you already have an M-8 (like I do) I dont feel it's necessary to upgrade anytime soon. In your case I would just buy the M-11 you won't regret it.

I tried an M11 last summer. When compared to the M8, the M11 is a little heavier on top. To me this through off the balance significantly. So I would suggest holding both before buying.
