i need an esc for up to a 12 turn double motor electrics are all new to me and i have no clue and very little money to start could someone please point me in the right direction for a very inexpensive esc to get started with?

Mtronics (i think thats the name) has a tempo 11 esc that is forward only with one button set up. I believe its around 39.99 and can handle down to a 11 turn.

Without mentioning one specific brand look at the different brands to see which one has the features you need and the price you wanna pay.
Futaba, Airtronics, Duratrax, LRP/Quantum (sold by Associated), Novak, Tekin, Integy, GM, Keyance.
Novak and LRP/Quantum have more models of ESCs with different features than most offers Tekin is back but offer only the Rebel and 412 which is a competition esc, GM and Keyance also had several models of esc both budget. mid level and high end.

m-troniks r also very good escs as they r fully water proof, and hav good features and control
