Hey fellas, question...

I'm a nitro boy so the battery stuff has me mixed up. I'm learning here.

Anyway, I have a MRC 977. I got charging down, no problem. What I can't figure out is the settings for discharging. I have a Reedy 1100mAh NiMH Battery Pack. Its a 6 cell pack. So, I need to discharge to .9v/cell or 5.4volts.

What specific setting in the menu do I set to acomplish this??? The brief and not so helpful manual is, well, not helping.

Here is what I can set in the menu....

1. AMPS to discharge at. (range from 0.2 to 4 amps ???)
2. Cell numbers (set to 6...no problem there!)
3. mV delta peak setting (?)
4. mAh capacity setting (?)

I'm not seeing where to set it to stop at 5.4volts.

I would appreciate any assistance you guys pass on.

It is non-adjuistable voltage cut-off. It should be close to .8 or .9 per cell though. It may even be able to be fooled by multiplying the number of cells by the volts / cell.

Well ,that explains a lot. Any recommendation on the amps setting to discharge at?

Thanks for the quick reply.

It depends why you are dischargeing, but really can be set anywhere in the range. If you in a hurry then 4 amps is ok, The lower setting will give a deeper discharge since the voltage is not adjustable.
