Finally, I am building my tomcat or finish building it. ( Its been over 1O years.) I am putting a ST 90 in the nose. Reinforced firewall of course. Has anyone any Experience with this aircraft and the Hobbico retracts that I've installed. Thanks for any replies! Craig

I just finished building mine that has been in the box for 10 years.
I used Hobbico's tricycle mechanical retracts with good success.
The only real tricky part was the timing and connection for the front gear. The pushrod is slaved from the main gear pushrod. Small adjustments make a big difference. Also, setting up the nose gear so that it engages the steering knuckle is a challenge. I can take digital pix for you if you like.

thanks. yes i would very much like to see how you handled the steering issue. I was going to rig a servo Connector and use a clevis attached to the servo connector hole so When the gear raised or lowered the clevis pin would allow rotation. I am curious to see how you solved it! again, thanks for the input!
