I Just Installed Two New Hitec 997tg Servos In My New Jammin X1cr. I Am Having A Problem With Getting The Servo Horns To Fit. None Of The Adapters That Come In The Kit Fit On The Hitec Servos. I Also Tried Getting The Aluminum Dynamite Ones For Hitec Servos And Those Did Not Work As Well. Anyone Have Any Sugestions.
Thanks
Ryno

the spine count shouldnt be any diffrent than regular hitec servos, which i believe is 23. an ofna servo saver kit might help. if not, try putting the original ones on again, and check for anything in between the spines that could bind it
They are 24t...
I run the blue alum. hitec horn in my K3.

I called customer service at Hitec and got no support. I have been an Airtronics user forever but I heard these were really good so I took a chance and now I am totally frustrated. The only servo horn I found that works is the one that came with the servo. I think I am going to return them and get Airtronics ones again. Does anyone own these same servos and have you had the same problem?

Ofna for whatever reason does not offer horns for Hitec servos like all the other manufacturers do. I beleive you can get hornsets from Mugen or Kyosho that would work if the stock horns worn't work although I have always been able to make them work. Is a special horn needed?
When you say you did not get any support... can you elaborate?
I think you will find that if you do find a way to make those servos work that they will amaze you as they have much more holding torque than the 358 for example which will be very noticable on the track; especially in high bite situations.
