Very simple question regarding their servos....

Why are they so cheap yet their strength is extremely high?

Maybe they are not cheap, maybe the others are too expensive...lol

I just put one in my Bandit, a little louder, but much more precise and faster. Have,nt had it on a track yet. I'm going threw Chemo-therapy and haven't had the strenght yet to run more then a minute or 2. As soon as I test it better I'll drop a line.

I've been mulling over trying these babies out for a while now. I run Airtronics 110$ servos in my buggy but my savage is in need of new servos and I aint gonna spend that much on a bashing truck. Anyone use these in a buggy or big truck.

I had mine in a basher xxx-t, then in my HPI MT2 where it still is. Takes some pretty good beatings on a regular basis. Its not anywhere near as heavy as the savage though.

my revo ate 2 of them in a matter of 3 runs each. had it in a onroad rs4 18ss steering and it worked perfectly though. i think revo throttle linkage and os18s are harder on servos though with the way the carb is turned a bit.....stock servo though works fine, odddddly!

who knows - i happen to think for the money they are decent even after killing em.....

sent it back once - prob not gonna repair it again though.

Ouch dude! Good luck with that, I hope ya caught the bugger in time and all turns out well. Good to know R/C is there for ya to put a smile on your face when your feeling down.
God bless you and yours.

I saw a roport on the the Nitro house website it says that they have had some problems with stock Traxxas radios, and BlueBird servos. Other wise everyone else I've talked to love theirs.

I've used one in an RC boat with zero problems.

I bought one for my CRT and it smoked the first heat I ran it in. The inside of the case turned black from the motor and circuit board burning. I am debating whether or not I should send it back and try another.

I have one in my RC10 T2 stadium truck..its a great unit, like others have said its louder than some other servo's (my old Ko Propo was a lot quieter). Its not failed me yet though, its fast, powerful and accurate so can't really ask for more for the price.

But an RC10T2 prolly is not as hard on a servo as a 1/8 nitro truck is. I have used Hitec 645MG servos in my 1/8 buggies but they are really not fast enough. I may give the blue bird another try.
I wonder if Nitrohouse will take it back since it fried the electronics in it.

i,ve got a purple bluebird bms-631mg super speed servo, and after 5 minutes of usage, the servo lugs cracked

There is a replacement case which is black, which i guess would be stronger

Retrospectively i wish i paid more for one of the big manufacturers like futaba
