I live in New Zealand and want to know how much some stuff is and how/where to get it. I am gonna sound like an egg cos I don't know the names of the things but I would like a frame for Midnight Pumpkin, instead of just a plastic frame I would like one about medium that is not too expensive. And a new, more powerful engine, if that is what you would call it.
So please excuse my knowledge of the things and try to help me out.
Thanks in advance.

When I say where I mean in America, not in New Zealand. And also if any of the stuff I want exists. Thanks

Umm, you want a non-plastic frame for the midnight pumpkin that is called medium? Could you clarify what you mean maybe?
as for the motor, out of the box it will come with a silver can motor. You will want a faster motor, not engine(engines involve combustion, motors don't)(I guess for 1:1 car guys, the terms are interchangeable). there are a variety of motors out there that will suit just about any job

Sorry, my bad, I typed it completely out of order. I would like a non-plastic frame with medium strength and a new motor. I told you I knew nothing, but thanks for being the only person to reply and help me out. And is there anyway to make the connection from the frame to the body stronger? Meaning the bit that keeps the body on the frame/chassis bit? Because I have done a few few jumps and have broken the body off a few times. Is there anything stronger? hat would help, Thanks

try parma body mounts, theyre thicker and have more material for the screw to grip. youll have to modify the frame to do this, but it should help. as for the frame(chassis), youd have to either do that yourself or have a metal worker do it. I can't think of any companies that have that option. is your midnight pumpkin stock(as is, no upgrades?) i can tell you a good motor to use after you tell me that, plus your budget

My budget is about $140(US) cos I am only 13 and yes, stock is no upgrades. But I hope to get ajob soon and earn money to get more upgrades

Ok
before the motor, you'll need an ESC and bearings at the minimum. Then comes a motor and maybe some oil shocks. i would start there

Ok, but what about the stronger frame and connection to the body and stuff? I would like that first if I can. How much one of those cost over there? I don't want the best or the crappiest, but inbetween. But if the crappiest is good, and real cheap I will just have that. I am picky. Haha, Thanks

theyre somewhat cheap. I think a set is like 8 or 9 bucks. are you breaking the body mounts that much that you really need to change it?

Not heaps, but I wanna be able to do some bigger jumps than 5 centimetres big. Dunno centimeters in inches, about 2.5. That is the highest I can jump, and if I go over some bumps too fast in a row, I am afraid it might brake again.

learn control. youll land the correct way each time if you master it. oil shocks help too

Thanks Tadium. I just wanted to say that I don't have time to practice or get control in the air when I can only jump about 2 to 3 inches max. So that won't really help. I need stronger connection between the frame and the body, new nuts and frame. I will hopefully gbe ordering these in from the US before Christmas. Thanks for all your help, might need some help later.
Farewell,
