View Full Version : Airtronics and JR.... Compatible?????

I am wanting to get a XS3 but need some other compatible systems for my other trucks. So I was thinking about getting a couple of MX-3's. Do the airtronics RX's work with the JR systems?

Just so everyone knows they are. I got the answer from another forum. A person hooked the radios up and tested them.

I personally would stay with the same brand of TX and RX. Ask him to take pictures to show and prove that it works. Don't just go by words. A friend of mine posted this flashy ride on the "Post pics of your real car thread" and it wasn't even his. Just goes to show words can only mean so much. :rolleyes:

Doesn't matter of age. I had some older 40yr old tried to scam me for my electrics trading for his Emaxx. Claimed he was a firefighter for this state, been working a lot, etc. He then wanted me to send MY stuff first as he claimed to be scammed in the past. First off I'm having people send me their stuff for mine...he offered and I accepted therefore he makes the first move. Turns out he been on all day at the PC, his name isn't the real name, and the address wasn't right. Just goes to show age doesnt matter. :)

It may work if you have the same crystals and all setup, but should you have a future problem don't expect it to be covered by any warrenty.

Using a TX with a different brand RX voids your warranty??? LOL , That is funny. Apparently it is common knowledge to alot of people that Airtronics and JR work together on the FM side(new to me). And Futaba and Hitec work together. Provided of course you have the right crystals.

Mike owns RC-MONSTER.com which sells radios and BL stuff. It's like calling JR and then saying, "well, I don't know if I can trust them. They could be lying".
