took my motor apart

well i got my .12 hpi motor apart and the piston will go the the end of the sleeve and then stop as far as you see in the pic

if it isn't damaged on the inside of the sleeve then you can pinch it

Its a process where your cylinder is mechanically squeezed to restore clearance back to near factory or new specs. Search on Ebay for OS Rocket - I think hes may have a little more about it in one of his ads.

There's a device being sold to pinch it yourself, but from what I've read, that seems to not work right more than it does. And when its works right seems not to last long at all.

OS Rocket has been doing it for a while and knows what he's doing.

so is it worth it ?? oh oh when we took the motor head off the screws were not that tight so we cleaned it off and then tightend it more then it was before and it feels like there is more conpreshon did not spell it right

well a new piston and sleeve usaly cost more than 40dollars os rocket services is like 20, it is compression
